Pastors
Jon and Crystal Clayton
We have been married and in ministry for 20 years. We started out in youth ministry right out of Bible college, then transitioned into being an associate pastor. In 2009 I made the decision to switch my ordination to the Assemblies of God and the next year we became the lead Pastors at a church in Lyndon, KS, we were there three years before God called us to Louisburg to Pastor here at Faith Chapel where we have now been for 11 years. Along the way, God has blessed us with four beautiful children, Cloe, who is 19 and now attending Southwestern Assemblies of God university in Waxahachie, TX. Canaan, who is 17 and a Junior in high school. Jadin who is 15 and is a freshman. Josiah, who is 13 and is a 7th grader. Each one loves and serves Jesus and uses their talents to glorify Him. We love the Louisburg community and our surrounding region and are grateful to be serving the Lord here at Faith Chapel.
Youth Pastors
We are in the middle of transition for a Youth Pastor, but we have an amazing youth group that is very active and enjoys hanging out with each other. We also have really great youth sponsors that love to invest in the students of Faith Chapel. We hope to have this position filled in the next couple of months.
Worship Ministry
NATHAN QUAINTANCE
Hi, my name is Nathan Quaintance. I grew up on a farm outside of Edgerton Kansas and still live in the same area. I grew up going to church with my parents and began my relationship with the Lord when I was five. I started playing music at about the same age and over the years discovered a passion for worship ministry. After high-school I did two years at JCCC studying automotive technology and then began working in an auto shop. The Lord soon led me to begin taking classes for worship ministry through Southwestern Assemblies of God University where I majored in church leadership with a minor in worship ministry. I am grateful to be at Louisburg Faith Chapel where I am able to serve the Lord through worship ministry. --Love God, love people!
Children’s Pastor
Jamie Ballard
Hey there! My name is Jamie Ballard and I am the Children’s Pastor at Faith Chapel. I have been the Children’s Pastor here for 5 years. My family has been attending Faith Chapel now for 7 years. I grew up in Louisburg and my husband and I decided to move back when my son was ready to start school. I teach here at church on Wednesdays and Sundays. When we are not plugging into the church you will find us on a field, court, or mat, watching Bo practice or play a sport. Football is my favorite followed by baseball. You will find my husband Scottie singing on Sundays here at church or making kids laugh with the puppet friends we have visit! I am the only girl in my house of 5 boys (if you count our dogs.) We have an English Bulldog, Cocker Spaniel, and one Beagle. There is never a dull moment being outnumbered. My favorite things are cooking with my husband, hosting dinners, and planning events. Someday I hope to have a food truck or restaurant with my husband. Some refer to me as the Chaos Coordinator-the title fits most days!! Being a Children’s Pastor I have a learned many lessons. A few of my favorites are Adapt and Change. Just go with it. And most importantly- Trust God. He’s Got you!!
Our Core Values
Connecting to God
Connecting to God
John 15:5 - We believe that our connection to God goes much deeper than just a time of connecting with Him each day. We believe that we need to stay connected to Him regularly so we can hear His voice clearly, obey Him, and live a life that is full and abundant. As the scripture states, apart from Him we can do nothing.
Following
God
Following God
John 8:12 - Jesus gave us the command to follow Him, to give up our way and follow His way. The best part of that is that He is calling us out of darkness into the light and now we no longer have to stumble through life because His truth leads the way for us. His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.
Sharing
God
Sharing God
Matthew 5:16 - We have all been commissioned to be witnesses for the Lord. The question is, why wouldn’t we want to share God with others? He is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to us. Let’s make heaven crowded and share Jesus with all we meet.
Serving
Others
Serving Others
Matthew 20:25-28 - We believe that we don’t have to serve, but we get to serve. This is not something we do begrudgingly, this is something we do joyfully. God has called us to love Him and love people, the best way to show love for others is to serve them.
Building Relationships
Building Relationships
Acts 2:42-46 - One thing that we thrive for here is to be family, to do life together, not just meet on Sundays and Wednesdays. We want to be in each other’s homes, care for one another when we are struggling, and laugh and have fun with each other. Family is what we are.
Giving Generously
Giving Generously
2 Corinthians 9:7-9—There are core values you have because of the heart of God’s people in His body. We don’t just look at giving generously as giving money, no we look at it as giving of time, energy, money, resources, and hospitality. The Lord has made us stewards, not owners and when that becomes revelation to us then our hearts overflows with generosity towards others.
Investing in Others
Investing in Others
Matthew 28:19-20—The greatest investment we can make in the lives of others is to lead them to Jesus, and teach and live out the word of God in front of them. People are the greatest assets in our lives, it is so important that we steward our relationships in a way that is honoring to God and others. Come join us in investing in the lives of those around you.
